Burra is a historic town located in the mid-north region of South Australia. It was founded in 1845 after copper was discovered in the area and quickly grew into a thriving mining town.

The cottage is famous for its rich history over the years and the Australian Pioneers that built and lived here.

I wanted to capture this remarkable old cottage at dusk to show a different view most people don’t see.

Just after sunset everything changes, the texture of the rich dry wheat grass, shadowed rolling hills, and the sky lit with purple pastel hues that make way for the faint full moon making its way through the horizon.
