I captured this image using a 4-stop graduated ND filter and held the exposure for 4 seconds at f16.
The first light of dawn broke over the horizon in North Queensland, casting a soft pink and orange glow across the sky. The ocean, calm and still, mirrored the hues of the sunrise, stretching out in a canvas of tranquility. On the shoreline, nestled in the wet sand, lay a Triton sea shell—its spiraled surface catching the morning light, glistening with tiny beads of seawater.
As the sun rose higher, the shell seemed to come alive, its ridges glowing like molten gold. A gentle wave kissed its edge, leaving behind a trail of foam. The warmth of the sun enveloped the landscape, and the world began to stir.
