Billabongs are usually surrounded by a diverse range of vegetation, including tall grasses, eucalyptus trees, and other native plants. They are home to a wide variety of aquatic plants and animals, including fish, turtles, frogs, and birds. The water in Billabongs is often clear and still, creating a tranquil and peaceful environment in the middle of the harsh outback landscape.

Such a quiet and tranquil place for a late afternoon shoot. I used a 2 Stop Polariser and held the exposure for 2 minutes.

The reflection of the trees on the water’s edge gives out so much character to this image.
