The water in Billabongs is often clear and still, creating a tranquil and peaceful environment in the middle of the harsh outback landscape.

Captured this Classic Australian Outback Billabong early one morning, with the surrounding Mulga Gums reflecting off the water’s edge.

The stillness of the water in the Billabong gave this image a mirror-like finish. I held the exposure for 3 minutes with a 2 Stop Polariser Filter. Fuji Velvia 100.
