Walking on the beach early in the morning is an experience like no other. As you stroll along the shore, the cool, salty breeze and the gentle sound of the waves create a sense of calm and tranquility that is hard to find elsewhere.

I was greeted with this large Triton Shell on the coast of North Queensland. I had just enough time to set up the camera on the tripod to capture this epic event that would only last minutes.

I captured this image with a 3 Stop Graduated Filter to balance out the ever-changing sky and summer ocean waves.
