While the aftermath of a bushfire can be devastating and heartbreaking, there can also be beauty and resilience in the regrowth and recovery of the landscape. In the burnt bush of Outback NSW, there can be a sense of stillness and quietness that is unique to the post-fire environment. The charred remains of trees and bushes can create a striking contrast against the blue sky, and the blackened earth can reveal the intricate patterns of the terrain. As time passes, green shoots can emerge from the scorched earth, signaling the start of a new growth cycle. The burnt bush can provide a canvas for a vibrant burst of wildflowers, and the returning birds and animals can bring a sense of hope and renewal to the landscape.

Photography is a form of Art and I’m always pushing the boundaries, on what I can do with my Camera in Mother Nature. I slow down the shutter and take a number of “Blurred” exposures with the camera in a vertical motion, the same angle as the trees to create these stunning surreal images. I achieve natural RAW images like this out of my camera, turning the entire landscape into an abstract painting. The vibrant rich colour and texture from the blur motion of the picture made my day. I hope they do the same for you! Captured in Autumn wild bush late afternoon. 6 Second Exposure

Located in the central west of New South Wales is the small township of Byrock, Mulga Creek. The area around Mulga Creek and Byrock is known for its stunning outback landscapes, including rugged gorges, ancient rock formations, and vast plains. The region is popular with tourists and travelers seeking a unique Australian outback experience. I captured this Iconic red bull's dust shot at dusk, with a full moon. The dirt road in the composition is the old corrugated Cobar wall art Road which is still used today. Standing in the middle of nowhere and not a soul in sight, I captured this image in the middle of summer, just as the sun was setting. 6 x 17 Super Roll Film
