Photography is a form of Art and I’m constantly pushing the boundaries, on what I can do with my Camera in Mother Nature. I use an in-camera stacking technique and filters to capture the natural landscape, like a brushed oil painting. The colours of the landscape are so vivid, it is almost as if they are alive. The greens of the trees are so deep and lush, and the blues of the sky are so clear and pure.  The beauty of a landscape painted like an oil painting is that it captures a moment in time and makes it timeless. It is a snapshot of a world that is both peaceful and awe-inspiring. And just like a painting, it can evoke a sense of wonder and inspiration that transcends time and place.

The native bushland around Blackheath in the Blue Mountains is a true wonder of the Australian landscape. This rugged and wild terrain is characterized by towering eucalyptus trees, dramatic sandstone cliffs, and a variety of unique and fascinating flora and fauna. One of the most striking features of the bushland around Blackheath is the sheer scale of the landscape. The towering trees and cliffs create a sense of awe and wonder, and the mist that often hangs over the landscape only adds to the sense of mystery and grandeur. The bushland is also home to a wide variety of native animals, such as wallabies, wombats, and lyrebirds, as well as a range of colourful and unique birds, including the satin bowerbird and the rainbow lorikeet. These creatures add to the sense of wildness and freedom that permeates the landscape and provide a glimpse into the intricate and delicate ecosystem that thrives in this region.

Cool Waters | Country Trees Wall Art

Location: Cracken Back River, Thredbo, NSW Finish: Acrylic Face Mount / Diamond Polished Bevelled Edges - Ready To Hang

    15 Artist Proof / 150 Limited Edition
Hiking through the New South Wales Alpin Region of Thredbo early one cold winter's morning, I found the well-running stream on the Cracken Back River. I captured and composed this image using a 3-stop Polariser Filter and held the exposure for 2 minutes. The large river boulders and snow gums gave a colorful composition, with great depth and detail. The icy cold mountain cascade flows downstream from the Thredbo Ski Fields, into Lake Cracken Back. Autumn colors are a breathtaking sight to behold, a feast for the eyes that fills the soul with warmth and joy. As the leaves on the trees change from bright greens to deep oranges, rich yellows, and fiery reds, they create a tapestry of color that is nothing short of magical. Walking through an autumn forest, the vibrant colors of the leaves create a canopy of warmth above you, a shelter from the cool fall breeze. The ground beneath your feet is a carpet of leaves, each one a different shade of red, orange, and yellow, crunching softly as you walk. The autumn colors evoke a sense of nostalgia and comfort, reminding us of cozy nights by the fire, warm sweaters, and hot cocoa. They are a reminder of the beauty of change, of the constant evolution of the world around us, and the cyclical nature of life. 6 x 17 Super Roll Film

Organ Pipes | Country Trees Wall Art

Location: Narrabri, NSW Finish: Acrylic Face Mount / Diamond Polished Bevelled Edges - Ready To Hang

    10 Artist Proof / 100 Limited Edition
Sawn Rocks with its towering wall of Pentagonal Basalt Pipes. Located in the Mount Kaputar National Park Narrabri, New South Wales. It features a series of tall, cylindrical columns of rock that have been naturally carved by volcanic activity over millions of years. The Sawn Rocks formation is believed to have been created around 21 million years ago, during the Miocene era, when the area was home to a large volcanic field. The columns were formed when lava flowed from a nearby volcano and cooled, contracting and cracking into hexagonal shapes. The Sawn Rocks is a popular tourist attraction and visitors can take a short walk to the base of the formation to explore and take photos. The site is also of cultural significance to the local Gamilaraay people, who have traditional stories and beliefs associated with the formation. Captured this image on Film, Fuji Velvia 100

Dad's Truck is a 1940 D4 International, put to rest backing the late 1960s. These iconic Australian images show the history of how life would have been in earlier days in Australia. This image was captured and composed on a mate's working Cattle station, with the old shearing shed in the background. Corronga Peak Station was once a thriving place, south of Bourke, NSW back in the 1950s. This image was photographed early one cold winter morning. 6 x17 Super Roll Film

An outback billabong is a waterhole or pond that is typically found in the arid regions of Australia. These waterholes are often fed by seasonal rains and are an important source of water for both wildlife and people living in the remote areas of the outback. Billabongs are usually surrounded by a diverse range of vegetation, including tall grasses, eucalyptus trees, and other native plants. They are home to a wide variety of aquatic plants and animals, including fish, turtles, frogs, and birds. The water in Billabongs is often clear and still, creating a tranquil and peaceful environment in the middle of the harsh outback landscape. Captured this Classic Australian Outback Billabong early one morning, with the surrounding Mulga Gums reflecting off the water's edge. The stillness of the water in the Billabong gave this image a mirror-like finish. I held the exposure for 3 minutes with a 2 Stop Polariser Filter. Fuji Velvia 100. 6 x 17 Super Roll Film
