Moonlight Head is a coastal headland located in Victoria, Australia. Wreck Beach is a nearby beach that is known for its rugged and remote beauty. The beach can be accessed via a steep walking track that descends from the cliffs above. The area is popular with hikers and nature enthusiasts, who come to explore the rugged coastline and take in the stunning views. The beach is also a popular spot for surfers, although the rough waters and rocky terrain make it suitable only for experienced surfers. The name "Moonlight Head" comes from the historic Cape Otway Lighthouse, which was built in 1848 and is located on the nearby headland. The lighthouse was an important navigational aid for ships traveling along the treacherous coastline. Wreck Beach is named after the numerous shipwrecks that have occurred along this stretch of coastline over the years. Some of the wrecks are still visible at low tide, and the beach is considered a popular spot for beachcombing and exploring the remains of the wrecks. The Twelve Apostles is a collection of limestone stacks located off the shore of the Port Campbell National Park in Victoria, Australia. These iconic rock formations have become one of Australia's most popular tourist attractions and are a significant part of the Great Ocean Road wall art scenic drive. The formation of the Twelve Apostles began over 20 million years ago when the sea receded and the limestone cliffs were formed. Over time, the wind and waves slowly eroded the cliffs, creating the unique formations that we see today. I've always had a fascination with photographing the Twelve Apostles, this angle captured on Gibson Beach is one of my favorites. As you can get pretty close to them and see just how big they really are. This Image was captured on a very colourfull cloudy afternoon. The Twelve Apostles is a collection of limestone stacks that rise out of the Southern Ocean along the Great Ocean Road wall art in Victoria, Australia. They are one of Australia's most famous landmarks and a popular tourist attraction, attracting millions of visitors each year. Despite their name, there were only ever nine stacks, and one of these has since collapsed due to erosion. The Twelve Apostles were formed over millions of years by the constant erosion of the soft limestone cliffs by the ocean waves. The stacks are made up of layers of sediment that have built up over time, creating a unique and stunning natural formation. The Twelve Apostles are located in the Port Campbell National Park and are accessible via a boardwalk that winds its way along the cliffs above. Visitors can take in the stunning views of the stacks and the surrounding coastline from various viewing platforms along the way. The best time to visit the Twelve Apostles is at sunset or sunrise when the light is soft and warm, creating a magical atmosphere. The site is also home to a variety of native wildlife, including kangaroos, wallabies, and birdlife. Captured and composed this dramatic image, early one morning just after a huge storm cell hit the coastline just before sunrise leaving so much detail in the sky as it passed. The rays of light scrambled over the Indian Ocean, the cloud cover was changing dramatically every minute, and I knew it was time to shoot. Linhof Technorama 6 x 17 Super Roll Film
