As the sun begins to dip towards the horizon, casting a warm golden light over the world, a lighthouse stands tall and proud against the sky. Its white and red stripes gleam in the light, creating a beautiful contrast against the deep blue of the sea and the soft pastels of the sunset. The air is still and quiet, the sound of the waves gently lapping against the shore in the distance. The lighthouse seems to radiate a sense of calm and serenity, inviting visitors to take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the moment. Inside the lighthouse, the winding staircase leads upwards, beckoning visitors to climb and take in the stunning views from the top. As they ascend, the sound of the waves becomes louder and more pronounced, the scent of salt and sea air becoming stronger with each step. 6 x 17 Super Roll Film

Hornby Lighthouse, also known as the South Head Lower Light, is located in Sydney, Australia. The lighthouse was first lit in 1858 and is situated on the South Head peninsula at the entrance of the Sydney Harbour. The lighthouse is also a popular tourist attraction, with visitors often taking the scenic coastal walk from Bondi to Watsons Bay. It offers stunning views of Sydney Harbour and the ocean. Standing on the edge of the cliff in front of this iconic Lighthouse, I captured this image late afternoon using a Tabacco one-stop grad filter to expose more of the clouds and the surrounding vista. I managed to get the capture I was looking for. 6 X 17 Super Roll Film, Linhof Technorama, f16 @ 30 Seconds
