Located south of Bourke, in the small New South Wales Outback town of Byrock, is the old Shearing shed on Corronga Peak Station, Mulga Creek wall art. This property was once a thriving Shearing Shed back in the 1940s, The Owner A friend of mine, has done his best in preserving the detail of what was once a thriving stockyard. I captured this angle of the Shed and blu out the highlights to give it an old-school look, and to show the detail of the old hand-cut dilapidated wood flooring and fixtures. The rusted machinery still cladding to the ceiling of the corrugated tin roof, and the old wooden pylons that hold this structure together. An outback billabong is a waterhole or pond that is typically found in the arid regions of Australia. These waterholes are often fed by seasonal rains and are an important source of water for both wildlife and people living in the remote areas of the outback. Billabongs are usually surrounded by a diverse range of vegetation, including tall grasses, eucalyptus trees, and other native plants. They are home to a wide variety of aquatic plants and animals, including fish, turtles, frogs, and birds. The water in Billabongs is often clear and still, creating a tranquil and peaceful environment in the middle of the harsh outback landscape. Composed this image with the late afternoon reflection off the water of a Billabong in Outback, New South Wales, Such a quiet and tranquil place for a late afternoon shoot. I used a 2 Stop Polariser and held the exposure for 2 minutes. The reflection of the trees on the water's edge gives out so much character to this image. 6 X 17 Super Roll Film

Cobar, NSW is a hidden gem in the heart of the Australian outback, surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery and rich cultural heritage. One of the most striking features of this unique region is the vibrant red dirt that blankets the landscape, creating a mesmerizing contrast against the clear blue skies. The red dirt of Cobar is not only visually stunning, but it also tells a story of the area's geological history. It is a reminder of the ancient landscapes that once dominated the region, shaped by millions of years of natural processes. It is a symbol of resilience, strength, and endurance, as the local community has persevered through both good times and tough times. The Mulga tree, also known as Acacia Aneura, is a common sight in the Bourke region of New South Wales and is a beloved and iconic symbol of the Australian outback. These hardy trees are perfectly adapted to thrive in the harsh and unforgiving desert environment, with deep roots that can tap into underground water sources and a tough exterior that protects them from the scorching heat. Despite their rugged appearance, there is a subtle beauty to the Mulga trees that dot the landscape around Bourke. Their branches twist and curl in intricate patterns, casting elegant shadows on the ground below. When the sun sets, the trees take on a warm, golden glow, as if they are lit from within. The dry river bed of the Mulga Creek wall art in Bourke, NSW may seem desolate at first glance, but upon closer inspection, there is a subtle beauty to be found in its rugged terrain. The sand and rocks that line the bed of the creek are weathered and worn, their surfaces etched with intricate patterns and textures that tell the story of millions of years of geological activity. 6 x 17 Super Roll Film
