As the first light of dawn creeps over the horizon, the sky above the southern ocean is bathed in a pastel glow that seems to stretch out to infinity. Soft pinks, delicate lavenders, and muted blues blend together to create a peaceful and serene atmosphere, filling the air with a sense of tranquility and calm. The 12 Apostles below are calm and still, reflecting the soft colors of the sky above. It is a moment of perfect stillness as if the entire world is holding its breath in anticipation of the new day. The ocean under the jetty was a world unto itself, a mysterious and captivating place that seemed to hold a thousand secrets. The wooden planks above creaked and groaned with the movement of the water below, a constant reminder of the power and strength of the ocean. I peered up through the gaps in the planks, watching as the waves crashed against the wooden posts, sending plumes of salty spray up into the air. The water was a deep, dark blue with a shade of purple, shafts of sunlight filtering up through the waves to dance on the sandy bottom. As I gazed into the depths of the ocean, I felt a sense of awe and wonder wash over me. There was a sense of endless possibility here, a feeling that anything could be hiding in the shadows, waiting to be discovered. I held the exposure for 5 minutes at sunrise. 6 x 17 Super Roll Film

Rising up from the water, towering and majestic, rugged edges softened by the glow of the dawn. The rock seems to be alive with color, the surfaces lit up by the first rays of the sun. The sea spray dances around it, adding a delicate mist to the air, and the waves crash against the sides with a gentle and rhythmic sound. At this moment, it feels as though the Horse Head is the guardian of the ocean, standing tall and strong against the crashing waves, watching over the sea with a steady and unrelenting gaze.
