Sawn Rocks with its towering wall of Pentagonal Basalt Pipes. Located in the Mount Kaputar National Park Narrabri, New South Wales. It features a series of tall, cylindrical columns of rock that have been naturally carved by volcanic activity over millions of years. The Sawn Rocks formation is believed to have been created around 21 million years ago, during the Miocene era, when the area was home to a large volcanic field. The columns were formed when lava flowed from a nearby volcano and cooled, contracting and cracking into hexagonal shapes. The Sawn Rocks is a popular tourist attraction and visitors can take a short walk to the base of the formation to explore and take photos. The site is also of cultural significance to the local Gamilaraay people, who have traditional stories and beliefs associated with the formation. Captured this image on Film, Fuji Velvia 100

The Twelve Apostles is a collection of limestone stacks located off the shore of the Port Campbell National Park in Victoria, Australia. These iconic rock formations have become one of Australia's most popular tourist attractions and are a significant part of the Great Ocean Road scenic drive. The formation of the Twelve Apostles began over 20 million years ago when the sea receded and the limestone cliffs were formed. Over time, the wind and waves slowly eroded the cliffs, creating the unique formations that we see today. I've always had a fascination with photographing the Twelve Apostles, this angle captured on Gibson Beach is one of my favorites. As you can get pretty close to them and see just how big they really are. This Image was captured on a very colourfull cloudy afternoon. The salty sea breeze lingering throughout the air, made for the perfect film shot. 6 x17 Super Roll Film
