Burra is a historic town located in the Mid-North region of South Australia, located just outside the town center is this old 1920s Sandstone Cottage wall art. The cottage is famous for its rich history over the years and the Australian Pioneers that built and lived here. I captured and composed this shot in the middle of a dry summer's day with a colour temperature in the 40s. The rolling hills of Burra in the background and the old cottage brought this image to life. I wanted to capture this remarkable old cottage at dusk to show a different view most people don't see. Just after sunset everything changes, the texture of the rich dry wheat grass, shadowed rolling hills, and the sky lit with purple pastel hues that make way for the faint full moon making its way through the horizon.
