Yellow wall art gum trees, also known as Eucalyptus leucoxylon, are a beautiful and important part of Australia's native flora. These trees are known for their distinctive Yellow wall art bark, which peels away to reveal a smooth, pale trunk beneath. Yellow wall art gum trees can grow up to 30 meters tall and are found throughout southern Australia, including in parks, gardens, and natural bushland areas. They provide important habitats for native wildlife, such as koalas, possums, and a variety of bird species.

While the aftermath of a bushfire can be devastating and heartbreaking, there can also be beauty and resilience in the regrowth and recovery of the landscape. In the burnt bush of Outback NSW, there can be a sense of stillness and quietness that is unique to the post-fire environment. The charred remains of trees and bushes can create a striking contrast against the blue sky, and the blackened earth can reveal the intricate patterns of the terrain. As time passes, green shoots can emerge from the scorched earth, signaling the start of a new growth cycle. The burnt bush can provide a canvas for a vibrant burst of wildflowers, and the returning birds and animals can bring a sense of hope and renewal to the landscape.

The old Jetty stretched out over the Bay's calm waters, its wooden piers worn and weathered by years of use. The sun began setting in the distance, casting a warm glow over the landscape. As I made my way capture the jetty, I couldn't help but feel a sense of peace and tranquility wash over me. The water was still and calm, reflecting the colors of the sunset on its glassy surface. I sat at the front of the water's edge and watched as the sun sank lower in the sky, casting a warm, purple light over the water. The air was still, and the only sounds were the gentle lapping of the water against the wooden posts of the jetty. 6 x 17 Super Roll Film

Cool Waters | Yellow Wall Art

Location: Cracken Back River, Thredbo, NSW Finish: Acrylic Face Mount / Diamond Polished Bevelled Edges - Ready To Hang

    15 Artist Proof / 150 Limited Edition
Hiking through the New South Wales Alpin Region of Thredbo early one cold winter's morning, I found the well-running stream on the Cracken Back River. I captured and composed this image using a 3-stop Polariser Filter and held the exposure for 2 minutes. The large river boulders and snow gums gave a colorful composition, with great depth and detail. The icy cold mountain cascade flows downstream from the Thredbo Ski Fields, into Lake Cracken Back. Smoke on the water captured this hazy image of what is left of the old Pier in the Bellarine. After days of back burning, the slow-moving haze made its way across Port Phillip Bay. The smoke-filled Bay made for a great image, late afternoon with the sun-lit hues close to sunset. Photographed on 6 x 17 Super Roll Film
